I used to read much more than I do these days. As you can probably tell, I have a preference for fantasy and science fiction, although I enjoy a good book of almost any genre. I have, however, decided to avoid starting any new multi-volume epic sagas. The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan is good, but I'm running out of energy after 11 books. Thankfully it seems that book 12 will be the last (other than his prequels, of course).

And here's a tip: never read anything by Terry Goodkind or Sara Douglas - life is just too short.
